Dave Maxfield
Dave devotes the majority of his practice to representing individual consumers in disputes with insurance companies, banks, automobile dealers and credit reporting agencies. He has represented hundreds of clients successfully in such cases, and in 2003 obtained one of the highest punitive damage verdicts in America against a creditor in a credit reporting case. Dave is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, and currently serves as Chairman of the South Carolina Bar's Consumer Law section, and speaks regularly to other lawyers, the public, and in the media about issues affecting the rights of consumers.
