Gene Trotter

Gene is the founding member of the firm. He has been actively engaged in civil trial work for more than 25 years, and has represented thousands of clients in all types of civil litigation, including personal injury and wrongful death claims, workers' compensation claims, and Family Court litigation. Gene has also practiced extensively in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, representing individual consumers in personal bankruptcies and numerous businesses in Chapter 11 reorganizations. In recent years, Gene has narrowed his focus in Bankruptcy Court to representing parties in adversary litigation claims, with a special emphasis on consumer rights claims. He is a member of Bankruptcy Law Section of the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association.
